Vera Resera is a Certified Senior Yoga Instructor with the Yoga Association of Alberta at the 1000-hour level and a certified Fitness Instructor through Fitness Alberta. With more than 15 years of teaching experience, Vera offers a diverse range of yoga classes, as well as mat Pilates and barre instruction.

Based in Edmonton, Vera teaches at several yoga and fitness studios and provides private yoga programs tailored to older adults, as well as prenatal and postnatal clients. She is known for her compassionate, supportive, and nurturing teaching style, along with her commitment to helping students practice safely and effectively to achieve maximum benefit.

Vera’s expertise includes Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra, complemented by a deep understanding of breathwork, relaxation techniques, and stress management. Her thoughtful approach creates a welcoming environment where students can build strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being.

Yoga has been an integral part of Vera’s life for over 30 years. Through her personal practice, she has experienced the transformative benefits of yoga both physically and mentally, inspiring her dedication to sharing these benefits with others. She is passionate about helping students achieve their wellness, health, and fitness goals while fostering a lifelong appreciation for movement and self-care.
